What is FBN (Fulfilled by noon)?

FBN (Fulfilled by noon) is noon's fulfilment programme: the seller sends inventory to a noon warehouse and noon stores, picks, packs, delivers and handles returns for a fee.

FBN is noon's equivalent of Amazon's FBA. Instead of shipping each order yourself (the Fulfilled by Partner, or FBP, model), you send stock in bulk to a noon fulfilment centre in the UAE or Saudi Arabia. Noon then stores it, picks and packs each order, delivers through its own network and manages customer returns. Products fulfilled by noon are eligible for faster delivery promises and the "express" badge, which in practice lifts conversion for most categories. For Indian sellers on noon's global store programme, FBN is the standard route, because it removes the need for local last-mile logistics.

How the fees work

Noon publishes FBN fees on its Seller Help Centre for the UAE and KSA separately. As of September 2026 the structure, effective from 1 September 2025, has these components: a referral fee based on selling price and category (charged on all noon sales, not only FBN); an FBN outbound fee charged per unit when an order is first marked Delivered or as a non-delivered return, based on the product's dimensions, shipping weight and sale price; and storage charges based on the space the inventory occupies. All fees are exclusive of VAT, which is added at 5% in the UAE and 15% in KSA. The actual outbound and storage rates are tiered by size band and are set out in the help centre rate cards; noon revises them periodically, so use the current card in Seller Lab rather than any figure quoted elsewhere.

Worked example, using illustrative rates only: a small-item order sells for AED 60 in the UAE. Say the category referral fee is 12% (AED 7.20) and the FBN outbound fee for that size band is AED 6. Fees total AED 13.20; VAT at 5% on fees adds AED 0.66. The seller's payout is AED 60 โˆ’ 13.86 = AED 46.14, before storage and any advertising. In KSA the same fee base would carry 15% VAT, AED 1.98, so a payout of AED 44.82. Replace the percentages with your category rates from the rate card.

Why it matters for sellers

FBN converts a variable, order-by-order logistics problem into a per-unit fee you can model. It also determines what the customer sees: express eligibility, delivery estimates and, often, ranking. The trade-off is inventory risk. Stock sitting in a noon warehouse is capital tied up and storage fees accruing, and slow SKUs are the ones that eat the margin.

How to manage it

  • Send only proven SKUs into FBN first; test new products on FBP or in small quantities.
  • Read the outbound fee size bands and pack to fall inside the cheaper band where possible.
  • Reconcile the monthly financial statement in Seller Lab against your own unit count to catch fee or VAT errors.
  • Monitor days of cover per SKU; remove or discount stock that will not turn before storage charges bite.
  • Model UAE and KSA separately; the fee VAT gap alone changes the margin.

Frequently asked questions

What does FBN (Fulfilled by noon) mean?

FBN is noon's fulfilment programme, similar to Amazon FBA. The seller ships stock in bulk to a noon warehouse in the UAE or KSA; noon stores it, picks, packs, delivers and manages returns for a per-unit outbound fee plus storage, with the referral fee charged on every sale.

What fees does noon charge for FBN?

As of September 2026, noon's help centre lists (effective 1 September 2025) a category-based referral fee, a per-unit FBN outbound fee based on dimensions, weight and sale price, and storage fees. All are exclusive of VAT (5% UAE, 15% KSA). Exact rates are in the UAE and KSA rate cards in Seller Lab.

Can an Indian seller use FBN without a UAE company?

Yes, through noon's global store programme for Indian sellers, stock can be sent to noon's fulfilment centres and noon handles delivery and VAT collection on customer sales. Check the programme's current eligibility and shipping requirements in the noon Seller Help Centre.
