Amazon Easy Ship in the UAE (2026): How It Works, What It Costs per Parcel and When to Choose It

Amazon Easy Ship is Amazon.ae's delivery service for sellers who keep stock themselves. You store and pack the product; an Amazon Logistics Delivery Associate collects the parcel from your location and delivers it to the buyer. The fee is a weight-handling charge per shipment, starting at AED 14 for a standard parcel up to 250 g, on top of the category referral fee. The fee table we read dates from 22 August 2022 and was still on Amazon's page in October 2026.

How does Easy Ship work step by step?

1. You list the product on Amazon.ae and choose Easy Ship as the fulfilment channel for that offer.
2. A customer orders. You pack the item at your own premises.
3. Amazon picks the packaged product up from your location and delivers it to the buyer.
4. Amazon's shipping rates apply to the shipment.

Amazon describes it as an end-to-end delivery service for Amazon.ae sellers. The public pages do not say how pickup slots are booked, how many pickup attempts are made, or which areas of the UAE are covered. Ask Seller Support in writing if your premises are outside Dubai or Sharjah.

How much does Easy Ship cost?

Two charges apply: the referral fee, which varies by category (most rates are between 4.5% and 15%, with a minimum of AED 1 in most categories and AED 0 for Grocery and Pet Products), and the shipping fee, which starts at AED 14 per shipment and varies by size. Fees are shown without VAT, and VAT is added.

Standard-size parcel, fee effective 22 August 2022, AED per shipment:

Oversize parcel: AED 18.50 for the first 1 kg, then AED 1 for each extra 1 kg. A standard-size parcel is one that weighs 12 kg or less packaged and does not exceed 45 x 34 x 26 cm.

Sellers can charge the customer a shipping fee of up to AED 10 per shipment. Check whether your category and price allow you to do this before you build it into your pricing; the public page does not list exceptions.

Worked example: a 1.2 kg item at AED 120

What should you ask Amazon before you rely on Easy Ship?

Send these questions to Seller Support from your account and save the answers. They affect cash flow and customer experience more than the AED 14 fee does.

• Which emirates and areas does pickup from my address cover, and on which days?
• What is the order cut-off time for same-day pickup?
• When do COD orders settle to my bank, and is there a COD fee?
• If a buyer returns an Easy Ship order, who collects it, and what is deducted from me?
• What happens to a parcel that fails delivery?

None of these answers appears on Amazon's public seller pages we read, so any figure someone quotes you elsewhere is unverified.

Does Easy Ship support cash on delivery?

Yes, according to Amazon's beginner guide PDF, linked from the Amazon.ae beginner guide page: buyers can pay at delivery using a Cash on Delivery feature that has been enabled for sellers using Easy Ship. Neither that PDF nor the pricing page we checked in October 2026 publishes a COD handling fee, a COD order limit or a settlement date for COD money. Confirm COD terms for your account in Seller Central or with Seller Support before you plan around it. Do not assume the cycle is the same as FBA, and read Amazon.ae payment cycle for what is and is not published.

Easy Ship, FBA or self-ship?

Amazon's own summary: with FBA, Amazon stores and ships; with Easy Ship you store and pack and Amazon delivers; with self-ship you store, pack and deliver. Self-ship has no Amazon fulfilment fee, but you pay a carrier of your choice.

Easy Ship suits slow sellers, bulky items you do not want to pay AED 2 per cubic foot per month to store, and sellers testing demand before sending stock in. FBA suits fast sellers and products that need Prime-speed delivery. The full comparison is in FBA vs Easy Ship.

How do you decide which SKUs go on Easy Ship?

Work through each SKU in this order.

1. Weight and size. Find the packed weight and check it against the table above. Parcels over 2 kg jump to AED 17.50 (up to 3 kg), then add AED 1 per kg up to 12 kg.
2. Speed of sale. FBA stock sitting unsold costs AED 2 per cubic foot per month, and units held 365 days or more attract a long-term fee. Slow lines are the natural Easy Ship candidates.
3. Your pack-and-dispatch capacity. Easy Ship means you store and pack every order yourself. Count the hours.
4. Customer service load. For FBA, Amazon says it manages customer service for fulfilment and returns for orders on Amazon.ae. That wording is not used for Easy Ship, so plan to handle more yourself and confirm with Seller Support.
5. Promotion plans. If you want Lightning Deals, the product must be FBA or Easy Ship Prime.

Start with five to ten SKUs, watch the fee preview on real orders for a month, then move more lines.

Can Easy Ship products join Amazon.ae deals?

Lightning Deals are open only to FBA and Easy Ship Prime products. If your product is plain self-ship, it is not eligible. Ahead of November events, read the White Friday seller playbook.

What does Amazon not publish about Easy Ship?

• Payout timing for Easy Ship orders. The beginner guide gives a two-week payout only for the FBA flow.
• Who handles returns for Easy Ship orders. The page states that FBA includes customer service and returns, but is silent on Easy Ship.
• Pickup coverage, cut-off times and COD limits.

Is Amazon Easy Ship available to UAE sellers on Amazon.ae? Yes. Amazon.ae's seller site lists Easy Ship as one of the fulfilment options alongside FBA and self-ship, and describes it as an end-to-end delivery service for Amazon.ae sellers.

How much is the Easy Ship fee per parcel? A standard-size parcel starts at AED 14.00 for the first 250 g and AED 14.50 up to 500 g, then AED 0.50 per extra 500 g up to 2 kg, per the table effective 22 August 2022. VAT is added.

What counts as an oversize Easy Ship parcel? Anything over 45 x 34 x 26 cm packaged, or over 12 kg. Oversize starts at AED 18.50 for the first kg.

Is Easy Ship eligible for Prime? Amazon's deals page refers to Easy Ship Prime products as eligible for Lightning Deals. The conditions for the Prime badge are not detailed on the public pages.
