Amazon.ae pays UAE sellers every two weeks for FBA orders, according to Amazon's own seller guide: "Amazon collects payment from the customer and pays you available funds every two weeks". The money goes to the bank account you registered, with Amazon's fees deducted first. Amazon's public pages do not give a payout rule for Easy Ship or self-ship orders, a reserve percentage or a hold period. We checked in October 2026. This page separates what is published from what you must confirm in your account.

Amazon.ae Seller Payments in 2026: When You Get Paid, What Is Deducted First and What Amazon Does Not Publish
By Blooprint team · Published 10 October 2026 · 6 min read
Key takeaways
- Amazon.ae's beginner guide says that for FBA, Amazon collects payment from the customer and pays you available funds every two weeks.
- Proceeds go to your bank account with fees deducted first, and any charge your balance cannot cover is taken from the credit card on your account.
- FBA storage fees are charged between the 7th and 15th of the month after they apply, so they land in a later settlement than the sales they relate to.
- Amazon's public pages do not state payout timing for Easy Ship or self-ship orders, reserves or holds, so ask Seller Support and plan cash flow with a margin.

When does Amazon.ae pay sellers?
For FBA, every two weeks. "Available funds" matters: Amazon pays what is available, not everything you have sold. Orders that are not yet delivered or are still inside a hold are not available. Amazon does not state, on the pages we read, how long it takes for a sale to become available.
For other fulfilment methods, the beginner guide gives no schedule. If you use Easy Ship with cash on delivery, ask Seller Support when COD orders become available and save the reply.
How do fees come out of what Amazon pays you?
When you set up the account you give Amazon a credit card and a bank account. Sales proceeds are deposited into your bank account after fees are deducted, and any additional charge that your seller balance cannot cover is charged to the credit card.
That means three things in practice:
- The deposit is net. It will not equal your sales total.
- A month with heavy fees and light sales can leave a charge on your card.
- The card must stay valid. An expired card is an avoidable account problem.
Fee rates are on Amazon.ae seller fees.
Why does a storage fee arrive later than the sales?
FBA storage is charged monthly. It typically appears between the 7th and 15th day of the month after the month it relates to; the January fee appears in the February settlement, for example. The rate is AED 2 per cubic foot per month. See Amazon.ae storage fees.
So a settlement that looks weak may be carrying the previous month's storage. Match the settlement period to the fee period before you panic.
What does a payout cycle look like with real numbers?
This is an illustration, not an Amazon schedule. A seller uses FBA, sells AED 20,000 of goods in a two-week period, and the categories carry a 10% referral fee.
| Line | AED |
|---|---|
| Sales delivered and available | 20,000 |
| Referral fees, 10% | 2,000 |
| FBA fulfilment, illustrative 600 units at AED 9.50 | 5,700 |
| Storage charged for last month, illustrative | 450 |
| Net before VAT adjustments and ad spend | 11,850 |
The 10% referral rate is the published rate for "All Other Categories" and AED 9.50 is the published rate for a unit up to 0.5 kg priced above AED 25. Everything else is made up for the example. Advertising spend, returns and VAT are not in this table, so your real deposit will be lower or differ.
How should a UAE seller plan cash flow?
- Assume at least two weeks between a sale and your cash, and more for orders not yet delivered. That is an inference from the published cycle, not an Amazon promise.
- Pay suppliers from your own working capital, not from marketplace money you have not received.
- Keep a buffer equal to one cycle of fees, advertising and storage.
- Reconcile every cycle. Download the settlement report, tie it to your bank statement and keep both for your accountant.
- Do not change bank details just before a payout. We could not verify a security hold period from Amazon's own public pages; ask Seller Support what applies before you change them.
Check this first. Amazon's public pages we read do not describe reserves or holds. If a payout does not arrive, open a case in Seller Central and ask for the reason in writing.
How do you read a settlement report?
Download the report for each cycle and sort the lines into five groups before you compare it with your bank deposit.
- Sales. Order value by day and SKU.
- Referral fees. A percentage of the total price, with a minimum, per the category.
- Fulfilment fees. Per unit for FBA, per shipment for Easy Ship.
- Storage and inventory fees. Billed a month behind.
- Refunds, advertising and adjustments. These explain most surprises.
If the total does not match your deposit, the gap is usually timing: a storage charge from last month, a refund on an old order or a reimbursement. Ask Seller Support to explain any line you cannot match, and quote the order or transaction ID.
New-to-FBA products can reduce some of these lines. Amazon.ae's New Selection programme waives storage on the first 50 standard-size units for 90 days and waives the first AED 100 of inbound shipping through the Partnered Carrier programme, with no end date published. Amazon applies the waiver automatically once it has decided the product qualifies, so a fee that vanishes from your report is not an error.
What about VAT on Amazon's fees?
All listed fees exclude VAT, and Amazon adds VAT on top. If you are VAT-registered, the VAT you pay on fees is something to account for in your return, and the VAT on your sales is yours to report. The Federal Tax Authority sets the registration rules. Read VAT on Amazon.ae and noon fees. This is general information, not tax advice; confirm with the FTA or a registered tax agent.
What should you set up before your first payout?
- A bank account in the same legal name as your seller account. Mismatched names are a common cause of failed transfers in marketplaces generally; confirm Amazon's rule in Seller Central.
- A valid credit card. Amazon charges it for any fees your balance cannot cover.
- A VAT plan. Decide with your accountant whether you must register before sales reach the threshold set by the FTA.
- A calendar. Note the 7th to 15th window for storage charges, so you are not surprised.
- A finance owner. One person should read the settlement every cycle, not only when something looks wrong.
What can delay or reduce a payout?
- No bank account or an invalid one. Payment cannot be sent.
- Orders not yet delivered. Not available.
- Fees larger than the balance. The shortfall is charged to the card.
- Account problems. Policy warnings or verification issues can interfere with an account. The public pages do not state the exact consequence for payments. See Amazon.ae account health.
FAQ
How often does Amazon.ae pay sellers? For FBA, every two weeks, as Amazon's seller guide states. The page does not give a schedule for Easy Ship or self-ship, so confirm yours in Seller Central.
Does Amazon.ae pay into a UAE bank account? Amazon says sales proceeds are deposited into the bank account you provide when you set up the seller account. Which banks or currencies it supports is not detailed on that page.
Are Amazon fees deducted before I am paid? Yes. Amazon says proceeds are deposited pre-deducting the fees, and any additional charges not covered by your balance are charged to your credit card.
Why is my payout lower than my sales? Fees, storage, refunds and advertising come off first. Storage in particular is billed the following month, between the 7th and 15th.
Can I get paid faster than every two weeks? Amazon's public seller pages do not describe an early or daily payout option for Amazon.ae. Ask Seller Support whether one exists for your account and what it costs.
Does Amazon.ae hold or reserve my money? The public pages we read do not describe a reserve policy. If funds are held, Seller Central should show it; ask for the reason in writing.
