How to Sell on 6thStreet in 2026: It Is Now AIVI, and There Is No Public Seller Portal

By Blooprint team · Published 10 October 2026 · 6 min read

Key takeaways

  • 6thstreet.com now redirects to aivi.com, and Apparel Group describes AIVI as the evolution of 6thStreet, launched in August 2026.
  • We found no public seller registration, vendor portal, commission rate or fee schedule on aivi.com or on Apparel Group's AIVI pages.
  • Searches for a 6thStreet seller portal or seller account do not lead to an official page, so treat any paid offer to get you listed with suspicion.
  • Until you hear from Apparel Group in writing, build sales on Amazon.ae and noon, where registration and fees are published.

There is no public seller portal for 6thStreet, and the brand has changed: 6thstreet.com now redirects to aivi.com, and Apparel Group calls AIVI "the evolution of 6thStreet", launched in August 2026. We opened aivi.com and Apparel Group's Club AIVI page and found no seller sign-up, vendor application, commission rate or fee schedule. That is the honest answer as of October 2026. This page explains what AIVI is, how a brand can still approach it, what to ask, and where to sell while you wait.

Is 6thStreet still open to sellers?

6thStreet and AIVI are run by Apparel Group, a retail group. Its Club AIVI page cites 85+ brands and 2,600+ stores.

That matters because a retailer-run platform is not the same as an open marketplace. Amazon.ae and noon let any seller with a trade license register. A group-run platform usually sells its own stock and stock bought from partner brands. Apparel Group's launch announcement names brand partners in campaign groups such as sneakers, bags, apparel and beauty, which shows brands are listed there, but it does not describe an application route.

We cannot tell you whether AIVI accepts third-party sellers, how they are approved or what they pay, because nothing public says so. Anyone who gives you a precise 6thStreet commission is quoting something we could not verify.

What changed when 6thStreet became AIVI?

From the launch announcement:

  • The platform is described as a next-generation shopping platform with personalised product discovery.
  • Delivery is offered in as little as 60 minutes.
  • Rewards run through the Club AIVI loyalty programme.
  • The announcement is dated August 2026 and is datelined Dubai.

The Club AIVI page describes the programme as app-based loyalty where members earn up to 5% back across the group's brands. None of these pages describe a seller programme. If you find an older "6thStreet seller" document online, assume it describes the platform before the AIVI change.

How can a brand approach AIVI or Apparel Group?

There is no published form, so the route is direct and professional:

  1. Check the footer and help links on aivi.com for any "partner" or "brand" contact before you write. At the time of checking none was visible on the homepage.
  2. Use the Contact Us route on Apparel Group's site and address it to the brand partnerships or buying team, naming the category.
  3. Send a short pitch. Who you are, your brand, three hero products, retail price range, your current channels and one line on why your product fits their customers.
  4. Attach evidence. Your trade license, a line sheet, a logo and image pack, and marketplace sales evidence from Amazon.ae or noon.
  5. Ask for terms in writing before you ship any stock: the margin or commission, who owns the stock, returns, payment date, and promotional contributions.

A retailer will likely ask for wholesale or consignment terms; we cannot state which, because it is not public.

Check this first. Be wary of anyone offering to "get you listed on 6thStreet" for a fee. Apparel Group publishes no such service, and we found no official seller page to check an offer against.

What documents should you have ready?

Whatever route is offered, a UAE retail buyer will expect the same pack:

Document Why it is asked
Valid UAE trade license with a trading or retail activity Shows you are a registered business
VAT registration number, if registered Needed for tax invoices; registration is mandatory above AED 375,000 of taxable supplies
Line sheet with wholesale and retail prices Lets the buyer calculate margin
Brand ownership or distributor letter Proves you can sell the brand
Product images and size data Platforms need them ready to publish
Arabic information where needed UAE rules say an invoice must be in Arabic and the provider may add any other language

This is general information about UAE rules, not tax or legal advice; confirm with the Federal Tax Authority or the relevant authority. Read UAE VAT registration for sellers if you are near the threshold.

Where should you sell fashion while you wait?

Use the channels where the rules and fees are public.

  • Amazon.ae lists a 15% referral fee for apparel, excluding VAT, and the Professional plan with no monthly subscription fee for a limited time, as of October 2026.
  • noon needs a valid UAE trade license with a sales, trading, manufacturing or distribution activity.
  • Trendyol UAE has an online registration for sellers and a Dubai SME programme; see selling on Trendyol UAE.
  • Namshi and Ounass are brand-approved channels; see Namshi vs noon vs Amazon.ae for fashion and selling on Ounass.

A sensible sequence is to prove sales on an open marketplace and then use that evidence in the AIVI pitch. The broader channel comparison is in best marketplaces to sell in the UAE.

How should you pitch AIVI, and what should the pitch say?

A buyer at a retailer reads dozens of cold emails. Keep yours to one screen and make the first two lines carry the decision: your brand, your category and one fact that proves demand. A fact is a marketplace ranking, a repeat-customer rate you can show from your own data, or a retail partner already stocking you. Do not claim a figure you cannot export from your seller account.

Then state what you want in plain terms: a listing as a brand partner, a trial order, or a conversation about terms. Offer a sample set. Say whether you can ship to a UAE warehouse and how fast you restock. Finish with a date for your follow-up. If you hear nothing in two weeks, send one short reminder, then move on to the channels that publish their rules.

What will you not find yet?

Be clear with yourself about what is unknown as of October 2026:

  • whether AIVI takes third-party marketplace sellers or only wholesale brand partners;
  • any application form or seller portal address;
  • commission, margin, fees, payout timing and returns rules;
  • minimum order or brand criteria;
  • whether the Saudi, Kuwaiti and other GCC storefronts accept the same sellers.

We will not guess at these. If Apparel Group publishes a seller page, the first thing to check is the date on it and whether it names AIVI and not 6thStreet.

FAQ

Is 6thStreet the same as AIVI? Apparel Group describes AIVI as "the evolution of 6thStreet", launched in August 2026, and 6thstreet.com redirects to aivi.com. Treat them as the same group-run platform under a new name.

How do I register as a 6thStreet seller? We found no public registration. Neither aivi.com nor Apparel Group's Club AIVI page offers a seller sign-up. Write to Apparel Group through its contact page, addressed to brand partnerships, and ask for the process in writing.

What commission does 6thStreet charge? It is not published, and we will not quote a number. Ask for the margin or commission, what it applies to, the payout date and the returns terms before you agree to anything.

Is there a 6thStreet seller portal? Searches for a 6thStreet seller portal and seller account lead to no official page that we could verify. Do not enter your documents on a site you cannot trace back to Apparel Group.

Can I sell my own brand on AIVI? Possibly, as a brand partner, but there is no public process. A pitch with sales data from Amazon.ae or noon is stronger than a cold email with only a brand story.

Do I need a trade license? For any UAE retailer or marketplace, a valid trade license is the normal starting point. See what license you need to sell online in the UAE.

What to do next

Treat AIVI as a pitch, not a sign-up. Get Amazon.ae and noon live, build a few months of sales, then send Apparel Group a short brand pitch with evidence. Blooprint, an Amazon SPN verified partner and Amazon Ads Advanced Partner, can run your Amazon.ae account management and noon account management while you do.
