A UAE-based seller can register with Trendyol online at partner.trendyol.com/ae, and Dubai SMEs referred by Dubai Chambers get 40% off the introductory commission rate for the first three months, according to a 2026 press release. Trendyol's seller FAQ says its UAE entity, Trendyol DWC LLC, pays sellers and issues invoices. The base commission, however, is not in anything we could open. This guide sets out what is documented as of October 2026, what is not, and what to settle in writing.

How do you register as a Trendyol seller in the UAE?

The Dubai Chambers release gives the registration address for Dubai-based SMEs: partner.trendyol.com/ae/onboarding/registration/. It is an online form, so you do not need a pitch deck. We could not open Trendyol's own UAE seller policy page, which a search result described as requiring a valid trade license and a UAE VAT number for local sellers. Because we could not read it, treat that as a likely requirement and confirm it during registration.

Prepare:

  • your UAE trade license, with a trading or retail activity matching your products;
  • a UAE bank account in the company name;
  • your VAT number, if registered; registration is mandatory above AED 375,000 of taxable supplies and voluntary above AED 187,500;
  • product data and images, in the format the Seller Center asks for.

If you do not yet have a license, read what license you need to sell online in the UAE first. This is general information, not tax or legal advice; confirm with the Federal Tax Authority.

What is the Dubai Chambers offer for SMEs?

Dubai Chambers and Trendyol signed an MoU in 2026 for SMEs referred by Dubai Chambers. According to the release, the benefits include:

Benefit What the release says
Commission 40% off the introductory commission rate for the first three months; standard sellers get 20% off and the usual introductory period is two months
Visibility Dedicated homepage visibility
Advertising Free advertising credit and campaign visibility
Account management Priority account management
Onboarding Hands-on help, including product uploads
Training Trendyol Academy sessions on listings, inventory, pricing, operations and advertising

The release is undated apart from a 2026 footer, and it does not state the base commission, the credit amount or the length of the training programme (the discount window itself is stated as three months). Read the 40% as a discount on an introductory rate that we cannot show you. Ask Trendyol to state in writing the rate before and after the discount, and the date the discount ends.

The release also says Trendyol has onboarded more than 15,500 regional sellers since launching in the UAE in 2023. That is Trendyol's own figure and we cannot compare it with other platforms.

How do payouts, invoices and shipping work?

Trendyol's seller FAQ describes the Gulf marketplace model. Its answers are undated and written for the launch period, so confirm each point with Trendyol. What it says:

  • The marketplace model applies to Gulf-based sellers on the UAE, KSA, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain sites.
  • Trendyol's UAE entity (Trendyol DWC LLC) makes the payments and issues the invoices to the sellers.
  • Prices are set in each storefront's local currency, so AED for the UAE; payouts are made in USD.
  • For orders delivered in a month, the payout is paid in the second week of the next month.
  • Sellers pay commission per item and logistics fees; the seller is responsible for the shipment fee, which Trendyol deducts from the payout.
  • No service fee was charged for the initial launch, and penalty fees for delayed or unsupplied orders apply after the launch period.

Two things need checking. First, the USD payout means your bank may convert it, so ask which bank and exchange rate apply. Second, the FAQ does not describe UAE VAT treatment of commission and logistics invoices. See VAT on Amazon.ae and noon fees for how VAT on marketplace fees works elsewhere, then ask Trendyol how its invoices are issued.

Check this first. The FAQ is a launch-period document. Ask Trendyol for the current payout schedule, the commission table and the penalty schedule as a dated PDF or email, not a verbal answer.

What does it cost to sell on Trendyol UAE?

We cannot give you a commission percentage because we found no public Trendyol UAE rate card. What is documented:

Cost What is known
Commission Charged per item sold; table not found; introductory discounts published for the Dubai Chambers programme
Service fee None "for the initial launch" in the FAQ; later position not stated
Shipping Charged to the seller and deducted from payout
Penalties Apply for delayed or unsupplied orders after launch; amounts not found
Subscription Not mentioned in the sources we opened

A margin check you can do without a rate card: take your selling price, remove the 5% UAE VAT if you are registered, then subtract your goods cost, shipping, packaging and a commission figure that you have in writing. If a number is missing, do not list the product yet.

What sells on Trendyol, and who should join?

The Trendyol UAE site is a consumer marketplace. We do not quote category shares or shopper profiles, because we found no sourced figure. The practical test is your own price and delivery position: compare your landed price and delivery time with the listings already live in your category before you commit stock.

For a benchmark, Amazon.ae lists most referral fees between 4.5% and 15%, and noon requires a valid UAE trade license with a sales, trading, manufacturing or distribution activity. Use those published terms to test any Trendyol rate you are quoted.

Sellers comparing channels will find the fashion comparison in Namshi vs noon vs Amazon.ae, the wider list in best marketplaces to sell in the UAE, and a different discovery channel in TikTok Shop in the UAE.

The seller FAQ says the UAE site offers customers cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Tabby and Tamara. It does not list cash on delivery there, so check the current position in the Seller Center; see cash on delivery for UAE sellers.

What can go wrong?

  • Margin surprises. An introductory discount ends and the base rate applies. Put the end date in your calendar.
  • Late shipments. Penalty fees apply after launch for delayed or unsupplied orders. Only list stock you hold.
  • Payout and currency. USD payouts add a conversion step. Ask your bank what it charges.
  • Cross-border assumptions. The FAQ says cross-border sales within the Gulf were planned for later, not at launch. Check whether that has changed before you list for Saudi Arabia.
  • Non-local sellers. A seller based outside the UAE mainland faces a different policy, which we could not open. If that is you, ask Trendyol directly.

FAQ

How do I become a Trendyol seller in the UAE? Register online at partner.trendyol.com/ae/onboarding/registration/, the address given for Dubai-based SMEs in the Dubai Chambers announcement. Have your trade license, bank details and product data ready, and confirm any VAT number requirement during registration.

What is the commission on Trendyol UAE? We found no public rate card. The Dubai Chambers programme gives referred SMEs 40% off the introductory commission rate for three months, but the base rate is not stated. Ask for the category rate in writing.

When does Trendyol pay UAE sellers? The seller FAQ says orders delivered in a month are paid in the second week of the next month, with payouts in USD. It is a launch-period document, so confirm the current schedule.

Do I need a trade license to sell on Trendyol UAE? A UAE-based business should expect to need one. A search result for Trendyol's policy describes a valid trade license and UAE VAT number for local sellers, but we could not open the page, so confirm it with Trendyol.

Can I ship from outside the UAE? Trendyol has a separate policy for non-local sellers that we could not open. Do not assume your overseas stock qualifies. Ask Trendyol and read the written policy before you ship.

Does the Dubai Chambers offer apply to everyone? No. The release says it is for SMEs referred by Dubai Chambers. Standard sellers are described as getting 20% off the introductory rate for a usual two-month period.

Is Trendyol better than noon or Amazon.ae? It depends on the product and the rate you are quoted. Amazon.ae publishes its referral fees and noon publishes its eligibility rules, while Trendyol's UAE commission table is not public. Compare the written Trendyol rate with Amazon.ae's published fees before you decide.

What to do next
