What is A+ content on noon and where does it show?
noon describes A+ content as a way to upgrade product pages with rich visual content, so shoppers get more than the basic images and bullets. Today it means banners only. There is no text module, comparison chart or video block in the noon article, so do not plan for one.
The banners sit below the specification block and appear in top-to-bottom order, the order you arrange them in. A shopper who scrolls past the title, images, price and specs reaches them. That matters for planning: banners are for the shopper who is still deciding, not the first impression. The glossary entry on A+ content covers the term across marketplaces.
noon says the benefits are to show the product visually, highlight selling points and improve customer confidence, with fewer returns as a result. noon does not publish a conversion lift figure, so treat any percentage you read elsewhere as unverified.
What are the noon A+ banner specifications?
| Item | noon requirement |
|---|---|
| Width | Recommended 2400px; minimum 1800px; maximum 3600px |
| Height | Dynamic |
| Formats | JPEG, PNG, WebP or AVIF |
| File size | Up to 10 MB per image |
| Quality | Clear, not blurry or corrupted |
| Number of banners | Up to 10 per product |
| Languages | English and Arabic banners |
All values come from noon's A+ article. Each image is validated when you upload it. If resolution or format is wrong, the error appears on the module.
Check this first. noon says not to use the same images that are already in your product carousel. A+ banners must add something new. Reusing your main gallery images is a common reason to rewrite banners.
How do you add A+ content in Seller Lab?
Follow noon's steps:
- Log in to Seller Lab, open Catalog, then My Catalog, and open the product.
- Go to the Content tab and scroll to Additional Media. Click Add A+ Content.
- Add banners for English and Arabic by clicking Select Image. Arrange them in the order you want them to appear from top to bottom.
- Upload. You can replace, crop or remove an image, and use Preview to see how it will look.
- When all banners show as valid, click Upload. The status becomes Ready.
- Click Confirm and Submit to send the content for review.
You do this per product. noon's A+ article does not describe a bulk A+ upload, so plan time per SKU. For bulk edits to ordinary content in both languages, noon offers a Content Export import under Catalog, then Imports, which you can edit and re-upload. If a product has variants that share the same story, check in Seller Lab whether the content can be reused; the noon article does not say, so confirm with Seller Support.
What happens after you submit: QC status
noon shows three statuses in Seller Lab:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending QC | The content is being reviewed |
| Approved | The content is live on the site |
| Rejected | It did not meet requirements and must be edited |
noon does not publish how long review takes. Do not schedule a launch or a sale to depend on a same-day approval. Submit at least a few days before a campaign and check the status daily. If a banner stays in Pending QC for longer than you can wait, raise a ticket as described in noon seller support contacts.
What should your banners say?
noon's own tips are to avoid heavy text inside images, make the banners work on desktop and mobile, use high-resolution lifestyle images, and keep a clear top-to-bottom story. A simple plan for a six-banner stack:
- The promise. One benefit, one image of the product in use.
- Three key features. Icons or close-ups, short labels.
- Proof. Materials, certifications or test results you can document.
- Sizes, variants or what is in the box. The question that causes returns.
- Use cases. Lifestyle scenes for the buyer you are targeting.
- Care, warranty or support. Link this to your real warranty setting; see noon warranty requirements.
Write the Arabic version as its own design, not a mirrored English one. noon does not translate Seller SKU content for you; every seller is responsible for creating content in both languages if needed. For the UAE, English content is mandatory and must be approved for the product to go live, while Arabic is optional, and a product with English only may be hidden from the Arabic site. That makes Arabic banners a visibility choice, not a requirement. More on text rules is in Arabic listings on noon.
Claims need proof. Do not put claims such as "original", "certified" or "best" on a banner unless you hold the documents. Misleading content can lead to enforcement; see noon seller penalties.
What goes wrong with noon A+ content?
- Banner too narrow. Under 1800px wide fails validation. Design at 2400px.
- Text too small on mobile. Tiny print inside a wide banner is unreadable on a phone. Test the preview on a small screen.
- Same images as the carousel. noon says not to reuse them.
- Content approved but weak. Approval is a quality check, not a performance guarantee. noon's content-quality rules for the base listing require at least one good image to go live, and optional attributes, description and feature bullets help conversion. Review your listing quality first: title, images, specifications and price.
- Waiting on A+ to fix a rejected listing. A+ sits below the fold, so it does not fix a poor title or a missing attribute. Read noon listing rejection reasons if the base listing is the problem.
