A UAE company registers as a local seller on noon in Seller Lab by uploading a valid trade license, a tax declaration, the ID of a business representative and, optionally at first, a company bank account. The license must allow sales, trading, manufacturing or distribution, or be an e-commerce license. noon says eligibility review takes up to 24-48 working hours once the legal entity is approved. Details below are as of October 2026.

noon Seller Registration for a UAE Company in 2026: Documents, Steps and Rejection Fixes
By Blooprint team · Published 10 October 2026 · 6 min read
Key takeaways
- A UAE company can register on noon with a valid trade license that lists sales, trading, manufacturing or distribution or an e-commerce activity; service-only licenses are rejected.
- VAT is optional at registration: a UAE-registered company that is not VAT-registered selects 'Non-VAT Registered' in the tax step.
- After the legal entity is approved and linked, noon says the eligibility review can take up to 24-48 working hours.
- noon's own pages disagree on minimum license validity (30 days on the eligibility page, 15 days on the documents page), so register with a license valid well beyond 30 days.

Does your UAE company qualify to sell on noon?
noon is open to businesses in the UAE, KSA and Egypt. You register as a Local Seller when your business is registered in the country where you want to sell. A Dubai mainland company selling on noon.com for the UAE is a Local Seller. The Individual Seller category exists in Egypt only.
Check these four things before you open the form:
- A legally registered UAE business with a valid trade license.
- A license activity list that includes sales, trading, manufacturing or distribution/wholesale. noon also accepts an e-commerce license, but not a license limited to services.
- A business representative with an Emirates ID or passport.
- A company bank account, or the willingness to add one later.
If you do not yet hold a license, start with which license you need to sell online in the UAE and free zone versus mainland. If you are weighing a route without your own license, read selling on noon without a trade license.
Check this first. noon's help pages give two different minimum validity periods for a trade license, as of October 2026: 30 days on the eligibility page and 15 days on the documents page. Treat 30 days as the floor, and in practice register with a license that has months left.
Which documents does a UAE company need?
| Item | What noon asks for | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Trade license | Valid license with a trading, selling, manufacturing or e-commerce activity | Service-only licenses are not accepted |
| Tax | UAE VAT certificate, or the 'Non-VAT Registered' option | Non-VAT is allowed for a UAE-registered company |
| Identity | Emirates ID (front and back) or passport | Must belong to a person named on the license, otherwise a Power of Attorney |
| Bank | Cancelled cheque, bank letterhead signed and stamped, or bank statement | No personal accounts; the account name must match the legal name |
Two further rules catch people out. Each set of documents works for one account only: you cannot reuse the same license, ID or bank details on a second account. And you can create several legal entities under one organization ID, but only one legal entity per trade license.
For the wider document picture, including KSA, see noon documents required.
What are the registration steps in Seller Lab?
noon describes registration as a three-step process. Follow it in this order.
- Create an Organization ID. Sign up with your email, confirm the one-time password, add your phone number and confirm that too, then choose an organization name. It is not shown to customers.
- Create the store. Click Start Selling under sell on noon.com, choose UAE as the country, and enter the store name in English and Arabic, plus your email and phone.
- Create the legal entity. Upload the license PDF and fill any fields the system could not read, declare VAT status, add the business representative and ID, add the payment method, then sign the Terms and Conditions that arrive by email.
You can click "Skip for now" on any step after store creation and finish later from the Setup Guide. Bank details are optional at registration; noon says adding them ensures smooth payment processing.
Store name rules
The store name must not be a brand or registered name (noon's examples are noon, Adidas and EMAAR), must not be a website or email address, and must have a decent meaning. Do not name a reseller store after a brand you resell. That is also the fastest way to attract an infringement complaint, covered in noon's anti-counterfeit policy.
How long does approval take and what happens next?
Once the legal entity is approved and linked to the store, the system sends it for eligibility review, where noon checks that your license includes sales, trading, manufacturing or distribution/wholesale. noon says this can take up to 24-48 working hours. The earlier document review has no published turnaround on the pages we read. If you have one legal entity, it links to the store automatically; with several you link them by hand under Store Management, then Legal.
After approval, noon says you need only one product listing to start selling and offers free onboarding training; request the calendar at seller@noon.com. You then pick a selling model, noon-fulfilled (FBN) or partner-fulfilled (FBP/DirectShip). When you have more than a handful of products, read how to bulk upload to noon.
Why is a UAE seller registration rejected and how do you fix it?
noon shows the reason for a failed legal entity in Seller Lab: open the issue, click Fix Issue, correct the legal entity, and the Submit for Approval button appears so you can re-trigger approval. noon's dedicated rejection article did not load as a readable page when we checked in October 2026, so the table below maps the eligibility rules noon does publish to the fix for each.
| Rule noon publishes | What to check before you resubmit |
|---|---|
| License activity must include sales, trading, manufacturing or distribution/wholesale | Upload the full license showing the activity list |
| Service-only licenses are not accepted; e-commerce licenses are | Add a trading or e-commerce activity with your licensing authority |
| ID must belong to the person on the license, otherwise a Power of Attorney | Upload the POA with the representative's ID |
| Bank beneficiary name must match the company name on the license | Use a company account, not a personal one |
| One legal entity per trade license | Do not register the same license twice |
| Documents cannot be reused on a second account | Use a different license, ID and bank set, or stay on one account |
Fix every issue shown before you click Submit for Approval again, not just the first one. noon does not publish a turnaround for re-review beyond the 24-48 working hour eligibility check.
What does registration cost?
noon's registration pages we read state no registration fee and do not publish one. The costs are those of getting a license (see UAE e-commerce license cost) and, once you sell, noon's referral and fulfilment fees (see noon seller fees). Confirm any fee with noon in writing. This is general information, not tax or legal advice; confirm VAT questions with the Federal Tax Authority.
FAQ
Can I register on noon with a free zone company? The pages we read say the license must be a valid UAE trade license with a qualifying activity, and do not exclude free zone licenses. Check that the activity list names trading, sales, distribution or e-commerce, and read free zone versus mainland for fulfilment and tax effects.
Do I need VAT registration to sell on noon UAE? No. A company registered in the UAE can select 'Non-VAT Registered' in the tax details step. Whether you must register for VAT under UAE law depends on your turnover; see UAE VAT registration for sellers.
Can I use a personal bank account? No. noon states sellers cannot submit personal bank account details, and the account name must match the legal registered name.
Who can be the business representative? Someone named on the trade license, with an Emirates ID or passport. If the representative is not named on the license, upload a Power of Attorney.
Can one company open two noon accounts? noon says documents cannot be reused across accounts, and creating duplicate seller accounts without approval is listed as fraudulent conduct.
Can I get copies of the documents I uploaded? No. noon does not provide copies of documents submitted at registration, so keep your own copies of the license, VAT certificate, ID and bank letter before you upload them.
What if my application keeps failing? Email seller@noon.com with the exact rejection wording and the document it refers to, the address noon's eligibility guide gives for questions. Other contact routes are in noon seller support.
